Miyajima Seaside Hotel - Hatsukaichi

This place suits me perfectly. I enjoy the free wi-fi, laundry service, and the tv. On my first stay, the staff helped me with late check-in. Highly recommend trying the on-site dining experience. Coming back for a new year!

Got spacious and huge room with absolutely gorgeous views of the sea and central heating, a personal safe and multi-channel television. Exceptionally comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Great and beautiful location by the sea, and 15 minute walk from Suginoura Shrine.

Quaint and fairly clean place with thoughtful staff with excellent service. Magnificent, lovely location ready to leave the Island. Based right by the major tourist attractions, the port area where most of the other hotels are and the train station.

Serene atmosphere away from the bustling town. The staff were kind, we felt welcome. The room decor showed wear, and could use a refresh. Our stay was nice with lovely traditional experiences.

The location was incredible and the free parking was on site. It was located in a very quiet residential area close to the main tourist area as well as Horshima memorial park.

charming stay with great service

The staff provided very nice service, our every need was met. The meals for dinner and breakfast were tasty and beautifully presented, offering a good culinary experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the fine sea view from our room.

What a shame! The room was so dated and old, it. The hot spring bath was less than excellent as well, with filthy tiles. I expected a complimentary upgrade to a nicer room since it was my special visit, but alas, nothing. So underwhelming, i almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Free shuttle bus service

During our family trip to Miyajima, we enjoyed our stay in a spacious Japanese-style room with a sea view. The beach out front had playful deer, which was a good surprise. We were impressed by the quality of the meals served. Both breakfast and dinner were really good. Plus, the quick and reliable shuttle made it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Itsukushima Shrine and Daishoin Temple.

The onsen area could use a more picturesque setting!!! The hotel decor shows signs of aging!!! The bathroom in my room seemed outdated and might benefit from a refresh!!!

The kaiseki dinner served in our room offered an exquisite and personalized dining experience, complemented by a variety of flavors for breakfast that changed daily. The traditional sliding doors attracted mosquitoes, and the room's decor felt somewhat dated, impacting the overall ambiance. While the tranquility of the hotel was refreshing, it's a bit far from the actions of town, requiring planning for transportation.
